I will dominate 'credible boxer' Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight round match which will be shown in real-time on the streaming platform.

British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" the American and "defeat" his opponent as the two fighters came face-to-face to publicize next month's boxing match.

Former two time unified title holder Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.

Fighter's Attitude

"I'm going to damage his features and break his body up. My goal is to show my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.

"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.

"I'm going to seriously aim to injure him. That's what I want to do."

Respectful Interaction

In spite of such comments, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally famous for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.

Jake Paul instead targeted ex Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "a joke" after the Cameroonian rejected a bout proposal.

Targeting Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at British rival Tyson Fury - and declined a large bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul win.

"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua said.

"I give him credit for that."

Serious Opponent

In spite of declaring he will punish Paul, Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his rival's fighting skills.

"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.

Jake Paul's Background

Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.

He was defeated by Briton Fury in last year.

Commercial Attraction

Still, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of boxing's greatest commercial attractions, regularly earning huge earnings.

Prediction and Belief

The 28-year-old forecast a stoppage in round four or five and claimed he would derail the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly being planned for two years from now.

"It will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.

Size Disparity

As Joshua and Paul participated in the usual confrontation, with their physical disparity on show, it emphasized just how surprising this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the bout is actually happening.
